The Wood County Prosecutor is an elected position, currently
held by Ginny Conley. The mission of the Prosecutor's Office
is to uphold the law in Wood County and fairly prosecute
crimes against residents, businesses, Wood County and the
State of West Virginia.
The Wood County Prosecutor is comprised of a complete legal
staff. Among their daily duties are to prosecute in magistrate,
juvenile and circuit courts, attend to cases of abuse and
domestic violence, and to serve as counsel in civil suits
involving Wood County . The office also upholds the
Freedom of Information Act, or FOIFA.
